You can reserve tickets in advance for the Uffizi Gallery, and it's a very good idea to do just that.  The lines are extremely long if you just show up for a visit.

    The best days to visit the Uffizi are Wednesday and Thursday in the morning, about 10:00 AM.  The gallery is closed on Monday.  The hours are 8:15 AM to 7:00 PM.

    The last time we checked, reserved tickets cost 8 euros each with a reservation charge of 1.55 euros.
